On August 16th, 2014, Thoughts Of Redemption was launched! Here we are, five years later, able to celebrate the vision that God has graced me to steward, so that God’s hand in our thought and mind transformation can be celebrated.
I’ll start this off by reflecting on how this all started with the launch of the blog.
How It All Began
The days leading up to the launch, I was extremely excited! Understand that prior to this, I didn’t have any intentions of starting a blog, but I was encouraged to think about taking my writing more seriously. I decided to do that, and through a process of God revealing the name for the blog and seeking out the right website to use, Thoughts Of Redemption was formed. When it launched, this was the way it first looked:
This was before the logo, before the YouTube channel, before the podcast, before I even wanted to do any of those things. From the moment this site went live, God has taken me on a journey that has led me here today! As much as I talk about Thoughts Of Redemption, I’ve experienced it in my own life too. From the way He has broadened my vision of what can be done, to how He has challenged me to think differently about my walk with Him.
This blogiversary is not only different because it’s the 5th anniversary, but this year has a theme that the Lord has laid on my heart that’ll be focused on in this year. The theme is titled Rooted and Grounded.
Rooted and Grounded
I believe that Jesus desires for me to communicate to you all what it means to be rooted and grounded in the love of Jesus as Ephesians 3:17-19 highlights. Beyond the desire for you to receive this, it is something that He desires to reveal to me first. Usually being rooted and grounded deals with a firm defense of the faith, and being grounded in what you believe. But to be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ is to first comprehend this love given to me more, and then to love more as a result of this.

Thank you to every reader, listener, and viewer of the content I produced for the last five years! It has been my honor and passion to do what I’ve been doing, and I will remember this 5th year throughout the year with new and exciting things to come. I pray that you will join me in celebrating the process of thought and God’s hand in it!
